What a wonderful way to come to quilting :) Your tribute to your Grandmother will remind everyone of her and you and the love you all shared.

It would be nice to place an fabric envelope on the back, inside put the story of your quilt blocks and a picture of your Grandmother. This way your story will not be lost to future generations.

Welcome from a fellow Texan :)

Thanks so much for the warm welcome and the encouraging words! Sharing my story with you ladies has been a blessing. As I finish up the rest of Granny's blocks I'll be sure to post them. Now I'm off to finish a baby quilt... :D

Great idea, I did something similar to that. I put a lable on the back of each piece explaining the work. It was awesome to watch them read the lable!!!

What a wonderful thing for you to do. That's a great story. I'm sure everyone will very much appreciate what you are doing. By the way, beautiful work on both your parts.
