it is hard after doing the small ones for so long. You get so used to getting that uniform look to our hand stitches that it's difficult to change them after years of practice...lol

Love your colors. The larger (primitive) stitches seem to making a comeback. Wonderful job.

Becka, I will be your grandma!!! ;-) This is a beautiful quilt ALL ways..... You did a great job. And yes, my sweet, your Lakota friend will love your star quilt. Those are outstanding colors and I can just feel the love you are putting into your work.
