I just completed this laprobe for my grandmother. It's 41 X 47. My dad always gets me fat quarters for Christmas and I used those. I'm still learning to rock the needle, so on this just did a cartoony stab stitch inside each square and rectangle. When I gave it to her she asked it's name and told me to always name my quilts. So I called it Thanksgiving.

Love the colors. I think the larger quilting stitch is being used more and more. It looks good to me.

Love the colors!! Your work is very nice and isn't it great that larger quilting stitches are now "acceptable". I personally like the large stitching on certain quilts.

I am totally hooked!! I'm already a week into my next quilt. It's a Star for a Lakota friend of mine who has been especially helpful to me and my family since my mom died a few months ago. It's a Lakota custom to give a gift to those special people at a memorial feast one year after the death, and he'll be tickled silly that I researched the customs of his people, besides I hope he likes the quilt. Here's what I've got done so far.

What a wonderful quilt, and that quilting is really nice with that pattern and fabrics. Great job.

BTW, I like your signature quote...that's exactly how I feel!!! :-)
