    I like your choice of fabrics and it is nicely done. Quilting is just like anything else that is new to us; don't give up, once you get your brain trained you will love it.

    Yes, I would say it is a mini-quilt. Nicely done. Be sure to show pictures of the MIL's quilt when finished.

    What pattern are you using on your DMIL's quilt? You will finish that one and be on your way to making more. :)
