That is a great start and what a wonderful way to be able to spend time with your stepdaughter. It always helps when you have something in common.

That is a great starter pattern, my stepdaughter got a sewing machine for Christmas and I just bought her the starter stuff, mats rotary cutter, etc., I think this would be a really nice pattern for her to start with. Different than the usual log cabin...

Good work and colors, sure you will be hooked now

great quilt, that is a good starter pattern, it is called fence rail... nice fresh colors... enjoy it, in a few years you will be a ole hand at this... keep it up, every quilt will be an education and you will look forward challenges...
