I like this. You did a great job on this. I have been sewing and quilting for many yrs now and this is better than some of mine. I think I lose patience to much now days.

Very sweet! I love the layout and the colors! You just proved that a baby blanket can be colors other thank pink or blue!

Thanks!! They are hand embroidered (I don't have a machine for embroidery just yet). They are penguin and fish patterns. I actually found them at a yard sale - good thing too, because if you buy them from her Etsy page the full alphabet set would have cost over $100!!! That is insane for patterns. To the person who commented about it not being pink/blue, they aren't finding out the baby's gender, so I had to try to find something neutral! It skews a little more boy to me, but I hope it will be OK for a girl!!

Thanks everyone! I had a lot of fun doing it. I have two other projects in the works now - another baby quilt using the same embroidery letters, but in a different pattern, and a housewarming quilt for a friend who just bought a house. I will share both when they're a little more complete!!
