My first quilt

I love your quilt , it's just adorable. Very good job for a first quilt and I love the random way you placed the embroidered blocks. Are they machine or hand embroidered? Thank you for sharing and we look forward to seeing more of your work.

Watson's mom, everything is hand embroidered. I have a crap-tastic $80 sewing machine that can sew straight lines (usually) and MAYBE a zig zag if it's a super fancy day. Machine embroidery is definitely beyond it's capabilities!! My husband said that if I keep this up as a hobby, there might be a new sewing machine in my future this Chanukah/Christmas! So I'm sure I'll be back before then looking for advice on a new machine

Hey, if everybody did things the way they are 'supposed' to be done there would never be any innovation or room for creativity!
I think your quilt turned out fantastic, it's a lot more complex and well done than my first quilt, for sure! Great job!
