They are both beautiful. Did you hand paint those flowers on your wall hanging?

thankyou no i didn't hand paint the flowers, I printed them onto the fabric using real flowers and a hammer to bash the dye from the flowers into the fabric. 2nd try at posting, hope it works this time

no. best to do a trial first, using different thicknesses of material. I found that a medium weight white cotton best.
also try different flowers as some are too dry, these don't come through, and some are too juicy, these bleed into material and smudge.
    1. a surface you can use a hammer on
    2. lay a peice of (white) material on surface, to blot any excess dye
    3. lay another peice of white material on top of the first peice of material, to print on
    4. place flower you wish to print on top of all that and another peice of material over all of that and start hammering firm but gently
Do 1 flower at a time. We did this when we were kids hope you like it.

Gorgeous, love what you did with the real flowers. I'll bet all kinds of leaves would look super, too! They are both lovely.

Wow! Both are beautiful, but I have to agree about the floral center in the first one. So what is that called, "The Flower Bashing Method?"

    They are both beautiful.
Where on earth did you find the large print pansy fabric. My moms name is Pansy and I would love to get some of that fabric to make her a quilt.
