Kim,

You did a terrific job!! Don't you just love all the helpful gals and guys on this forum? Makes quilting a lot less scary for novices.

Keep up the good work!

Sue (also from Wisconsin)

Hi Bobbinwinder, I saw your I Can't Believe It's A Beginner and it is just gorgeous! Wow...love the colors and the borders and everything! I saw you mentioned "Turning Twenty" and that is the next quilt I was planning to do. I picked up a Turning Twenty baby quilt kit at one of my local quilt shops so that may be my next project. Otherwise I have a charm square table runner to try...Happy Quilting :) Kim

very, very nice. i really like this quilt. i am putting it on my list to make. i especially like the dark fabric along with the colors. it gives the eye a place to rest and really sets off the quilt. thanks for sharing. i, too can't believe this is your first. love the quilting also.

Thanks so much for your nice comments. I can't take credit for the color choices though!! My husband saw the Joe Willie quilt hanging in the quilt shop (JJ Stitches in Sun Prairie) and loved the fabrics so I used the same fabrics from the kit. So the pattern designer gets all the credit for the fabric selection!! The designer is Button Stitch Design.

Good job!! I always like to see the different ways everyone does stitching in their quilts. Very pretty colors.
