This is my first quilt. As a cross stitcher I love the way outlining the image makes it pop, so with a satin stitch around the moose I started the quilting. The help of friends to make fabric selection was fun. I see why it becomes addictive.

Very nice, the fabric gives a lot of tecture look to it. I also like the defined look of the satin stitch especially around the horns!

    That is wonderful.
Quilting is addicting. We refer to our quilt stash in hush tones, because our spouses don't usually know the true extent of the stash and all the places it's stashed in.
Welcome to the board and the wonder world of quilting.

Thank you. I've sewn for years, but my moose's fabrics were selected with the help of friends.
