The big thing is - You made a quilt! That, in itself, is a great thing. For a first quilt it is very good. Great job.

My first quilt has binding that isn't "proper" too ;) I still love it though and you should be very proud of yours, it's lovely :)

Beautiful colors Oarai. I love the layout. Being a new quilter myself I struggled with the binding as well. Go to

www.youtube.com

and do a search on "binding a quilt"

There are videos that will show and tell you how to
slaughter the "binding beast."

What a great job. No excuses needed....You should see my first quilt. No matter what,we all are proud of our first quilt and will have it to tell stories about for years and years to come.
