Great work. Looks perfect from my view too. As a newbie I can understand your desires. These talented individuals that show their work make it look so easy. Keep up the good work. Your neice will look wonderful in the quilt.

I love it! My 2nd quilt was a D9P. It was fun to make and turned out cute like yours. Your niece's parents will love it and so will she as she grows up. Very special. You should be really proud!

Great job! I like it a whole lot! And enjoy your Brother CS6000i. I have one and cannot imagine sewing on my old Singer, the old Bernette, or the Singer treadle. That little machine has all sorts of features that I still find after sewing on the machine for about 5 years.

I think it's cute. And your first quilt top looks a lot better than my first quilt top! I taught myself how to sew with my first quilt top. Well, my grandmother taught me how to hand piece when I was a child. But as for machine sewing, I taught myself that on a 1969 singer that my aunt gave to my grandmother. My grandmother NEVER used that machine. As for my first quilt top, my grandmother kept it. I had a lot to learn back then, including fabric values, etc. But I had a lot of vintage fabrics to work with as my grandmother collected fabrics to quilt, but didn't quilt any of them. She said that her eyesight got too bad to handpiece anymore.
