I spent my weekend making this quilt top. It measures 83 x 83. The colors do not show true in this photo. The borders are actually a maroon, not orange. What appears to be a drab dusty blue, is actually a navy print. Also, what looks to be gray on the bottom and left hand side, is the same color as the upper and right side (creamy tan, kind of golden). This is laying on a queen size bed, which obviously is not big enough, but my apartment does not have the floor space to spread this out, and the lighting is poor due to chocolate brown walls. So, this is the best photo that I could get. I may take it outside tomorrow and get a better shot in the early morning. It is compromised of 16 - 16" blocks, and total borders measure about 10 inches. :)

Nice bed quilt, even tho the colors did not appear what they should of been. I love the colors.

thank you all. it will probably remain a top until i can afford a quilting frame. this is too big to put on my sewing machine. :) i want to give it as a gift, just not sure who to yet. :)

Very pretty. I find that the camera doesn't always capture the beauty of fabrics or quilts.
