Like most of us quilters who get excited with out first project, you picked a doozy. Complicated pattern that you did a great job with. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next. You are going a fabulous job (especially since it has circles!!I)

Cute baby quilt. It looks complicated for a first quilt - Cynthia

Be kind LOL

I am going to hand quilt a butterfly in the pink and green squares. Thinking of backing in purple and binding in purple. We shall see.

At least I have until April. I will probably need it.

Thanks for looking

Is that pattern the ten min block one?

curved piecing!?!
nothing like starting out on a challenge and relaxing back to something simple, oh, say, within the next twenty quilts or so??? LOL
You are starting so high on the achievement scale, I have to applaud your focus and ability. Good job!<wave>

I used the 10 minute block tutorial for the quilt.... then modified it to put the diamonds in the middle. Funny thing is I got Susan McNeill's book and sure enough the there is the quilt that I made. Go figure, I thought I was being crafty!! :)

In the yellow portions of the quilt it has lavender/purple and blue/green butterflies and dragon flies.
That is nice .The ten min block has a diamond in the middle, it just doesn't have the curved edges. I am not ready to attempt curves yet LOL
