You did a great job on your first quilt. All your squares matched perfectly and it squared up. Not like my first one. I think you are destined for great things...

They look great. Nothing wrong with the first one. (Remember when an baby starts walking their first steps seem wobbly, but as they progress they get better until one day Tah Dah.) I think the same is to be said for sewing and quilting. Not saying your first one is wobbly, but trying to let you know that you'll get better with every one that you do, and like each one better than the last one you did, just keep going.

earlier in the quilt discussion, a gal asked about making something for a friend who is going thru cancer treatments. I suggested a 4 patch. These would be great. Simple an easy but beautiful.
