I am new at this so I hope my picture will show up...
This is a picture of a small star quilt that I did on the sewing machine.
I was learning how to sew on the machine and trying to do the small half square was really a challenge for me....lol The sewing machine kept grabbing the corners and I kept having to try to pull it all out without going crazy and still do my quilt...lol he he It took me a few days at this, but I did not give up and today I can say.....I can sew half squares on a sewing machine without going crazy...LOL. :P

that's a nice little quilt, I like small ones, it gives you a chance to try out the pattern before you commit to a large one. A tip on keeping your machine from eating your triangles, first start out sewing on a small scrap then just sew onto your real piece. At the end of a run always end on a scrap piece and you ready to go next time. I have a hungry machine too.

Very nice. I still haven't tried seeing them yet. I can do them if I make my blocks 7/8 larger and stitch on either side of the line 1/4.

Very nice stars!! I wish my points turned out so well. I made a bear paw queen sized quilt, and the poor bears had stubby fingers all the way through!!
