Made this yesterday, finished it in about 3 1/2 hours. Not bad for a first tote. I used one of the links the Klue posted in the links section for ideas on how to put it together and based it on a bag I saw online. In my haste to finish it, I forgot to put the flap on. I think I can still add it. Sorry about the pic, I was trying to hold up the handles with thread and take the pic at the same time. PS-thanks for the links, Klue :D

I really like that!! Doesn't really need a flap unless you just want to add one!

That's lovely bearpaw, I like your choice of fabrics, and the handle compliments them. I hope you get lots of nice comments when you start to use it.

That is so nice!! You did a fantastic job. And I love your fabric choice - very versatile and modern.

wow - it looks great and the hardware just makes the bag!

maybe we should all do a handbag swap - it looks like a lot of people enjoy making bags and it could be a fun, short, swap.

Great Job ! I think it looks fine without a flap  and no-one will know it was suppose to have one unless you tell them 8)
