Thanks for these pics, I've been sewing scraps together as I believe they are called "leaders & enders" when I am sewing my blocks and strips. Have made lots of little 4 patch sections, but wasn't sure where to go from there. Now I know I'll start making 1/2 sq triangles as you have to get this wonderful design! THANK YOU, and god bless to your family.

Izy, I love your quilt and wish someday I could make something as beautiful.
You and your DH are in my prayers. Like others have said, doctors don't know everything but continue to cherish each moment you have with one another. If we could all learn to live in the present, what a gift that would be!!
I was diagnosed with Cancer last year and it completely changes your perspective on life. Luckily, I am currently cancer free and hope to stay that way, but one never knows.
I just returned from a month in your beautiful country near Salisbury where my DD and her family are living. I loved the temperate climate and the people were so kind and caring. And I had a chance to spend all that time with my dear grandsons, 4 and 16 months. What a treat that you have had the grands to visit and perk up your life!
Take care of one another and keep up the hope. It is what keeps us all going forward.

Thanks, Izy. I was lucky and I know it. This time last year I began Radiation Therapy. Who knew that a year later I would be well and my DD would be living in Salisbury and I would go spend a month with them!
Keep the hope going -- one never knows.
God bless! Pat
