Stop beating yourself up! I think it looks great...and you will probably be the only one who will see anything wrong with it (aren't we all like that??). I think you've done great for your first one :)

It looks fine. As someone else said put a pretty bowl in the middle and noone will ever notice anything. Your colors are great and you did a nice job. Keep on quilting...we all get better with practice!!!

Two things:
First: I think it looks GREAT! Even more impressive that it's your 1st one!
Second: You need to pat yourself on the back for even doing the whole thing! I started learning in July and have some pretty tops but have yet to actually sandwich one and try to quilt and bind it....GREAT JOB!! :D

My goodness, if thats a 1st try, you're making my 1st quilt look even worse than it does!!
I'm impressed by the runner! Looks good...& remember, quilting, is all about learning.There's no end to what we learn on each & every project That's the wonder & fun of quilting.Love your quilt & as others said, display it for all to see.
