Im new to quilting too and Im noticing that with every project I work on I get a little better. Im starting to cling on to my first projects because I wanted to learn to quilt for so long...they are like my special memories of a trip I have wanted to take for years. Next year you will look back at your table topper and think wow, I have come a long way. Then remember all the blood sweat and tears that went into it and you will always have a special place in your heart for it.

That looks great for a first attempt! As everyone else has said, no one will notice it but you! I have seen runners in the store that were crooked too!
If anyone has the gall to say anything about it, tell them you did it on purpose.
I like the colors and pattern. Use it and go on to your next project. We live and learn or die stupid!!! :-D

You are being way too critical of yourself. It's very pretty, and you should be proud to put it on your table.

I just have to chime in here and say the same thing. It looks great! You need to put it away for a while and come back to it. I sometimes have to do that too when I have worked so long on something that has me stressed out. Then when I see it again, I say to myself hey this looks good. Why was I upset?

I think it looks great and it's reversible - how clever is that!

It's absolutely beautiful! You are your own worst critic! Always will be. I love your sense of color, & I don't see a curve! Ease up & enjoy your first project!
