    No, I do not wash it before cutting. I wash it after cutting to give the fringe the nice fuzzy look.

    Great job and love your choice of fabrics. I love how quickly the raggy quilts go together and when you done, you're done....no binding, no quilting......ala finished!

    Yours is very nice.

    I use flannels, cottons, and minky in mine. My center "batting" is always the flannel, so it's not so heavy, but still soft and warm.

    Now..let's see the homespun one! Hurry up and get it finished.

    Yeah, I do need to get busy on that! I'm going to a 3-day quilting retreat this weekend, so maybe I'll take the homespuns with me and work on that as well.

    This is sew, so pretty. Have one of these cut out, but never finished it. Need to. We are scheduled to have snow here tomorrow. Sure would like to have one of the to cuddle up in with some hot chocolate & a good book.
