Very pretty. And good choice of colors. I especially like the alternated creams in background.

I used whatever I found in my stash and that beautiful floral fabiric that is in my border and the last logs were from yardage. I used about 3 yards of it. The rest was fat quarters and leftovers.
I didn't have a pattern just an old copy of the quilt in a day log cabin book. I looked on the internet and didn't see on that I wanted to use so I winged it. Pressing was the hardest part. Then to find a layout, I started in the middle and worked out.
The blocks are 8 1/2. The borders were cut 3 1/2 and 5 1/2.
I chain pieced it because I honestly didn't want to cut all those pieces. I started working on it last weekend. I think I have worked on it about 16 hours.
