It is a wonderful quilt! I love everything about it! Your fabric choices are great! Once you get it quilted, bound, then washed I think you will love it too. You are just to close to it right now. You are seeing imperfections that we can not see.

Can't wait to see your next quilt!

Don't know why you think it is ghastly, it is really nice, I love it.

I like it. Three different distinct blocks show up diamond, star and square. Very interesting.

I think your quilt is lovely. I like the colors and pattern. Sure maybe every point isn't perfect but my gosh it is your first one. You've already learned that the right tools make a BIG difference. I've been quilting for years and I still consider myself a beginner because we are always learning new things. After you have it quilted, (send it to a long arm expert) it will come back and you will fall in love with it. None of those boo-boos will show. You should be proud of yourself!

I think your choice of fabrics and colors are fine, acutally more than fine -- contemporary looking, and maybe the rest will "quilt out" as they say. Very pretty.

Keep the faith,
Annette

It is beautiful, and I am sure anyone would like it as a gift.
I can see were it does not meet up, but who cares.
It was your first one and you did a great job on a hard pattern.
GOD bless!
