Very cute! I have a Janome T-30 that I just use for its decorative stitches to finish off my bindings (I hate to hand stitch). She may find it fun to make a mini quilt and use one of the decorative stitches from your Janome to finish off the binding. I have found most kids this age don't like to do the hand stitching, but are fascinated with the decorative stitches of the machines. This is one way to make that part of the quilt fun for them. Thanks for sharing.

How cute... I remember my aunt teaching us how to do crochet and then another how to work "huck" toweling...making kitchen towels... those memories are forever..

She's adorable. You are going to have some fun with that one! Just think of all the fun things you can make together.

Such a sweet smile. She is very happy with her project and you are such a sweet Granny to let her use your snappy machine. So many people would never let that age child use a nice machine like yours. My grandchildren have always used any of my machines (with supervision of course) they wanted to try. My grandson even used to use my embroidery machine, but has now traded that in for his deer gun and a new truck. Darn it, that sweetie grew up on his granny. We had a good time.
