    My Grandmother's completed Flower Garden Quilt

    I had to add a few of the flowers to square it up, layer the top, batting and backing and then hand quilted it. I think I surprised myself with how well it turned out.

    Lovely, I have just fallen in love with the green and pink combo, your quilt looks so spring like, cool and refreshing, great work, love it.

    Love this! I'm working on one made from my dad's shirts. Grandmother's Flower Garden is such a therapeutic quilt to work on. Thanks for sharing.

    I made a similar one. I love the old traditional patterns.

    I agree! I would have never thought to use stripes but they are perfect! I also love the Nile green paths... it really does look like an old-fashioned flower garden. It's beautiful!

    How wonderful that you finished it. It looks awesome. I love that she used the striped fabric. I haven't seen that before and it is a great effect.
