Thank you so much for posting this heartwarming photo of your grandson! I love that he wanted to make something for his dog and you were able to help him. He looks so proud and it brings a smile to my face.

Wonderful quilt, filled with love. He is a smart boy for not just wanting to learn, but actually following through.

I tell all my grands that the more you know the more valuable you are. Why? because we never know when something we know will be needed and only we know it!

What a great quilt! It's fun working with kids, isn't it? My oldest GS was 5 and in half-day kindergarten, so he came to my house every morning; he saw a program on TV about kids quilting, and begged to make one himself. Yes, the seams were wonky in places, but he was so proud to give it to his auntie for her newborn son. And Auntie appreciated the work and the love that had gone into its making -- her son went to his baptism wrapped warmly in that quilt.
