Default My grandson made his first quit

My 8 year old grandson is visiting and wanted to make a quilt for his dog. I bought a charm pack of flannel squares and showed him how to sew them together. He made the seven rows and I sewed the rows together and finished it. He is very proud and excited to give it to Miley for Christmas.

What a great activity for you two to do together. And, his smile says it all.

I agree! The only sewing my grandson did was to try every one of the 100+ stitches my machine does! However he has helped a lot!
Really like the hand print hanging on the wall! Are those "family" hands?

absolute great! Hope while my oldest g-boy is living with other g-ma this coming semester that I manage to get him to spend a weekend and do some pillows--maybe suggest he make a quilt for his dog, too.

What a wonderful quilt for Miley. Your gradson did a fantastic job on it & I bet he's ready to make more. What a cute boy he is & looks so proud of his first quilt. Glad you had the time to teach him how to quilt & hopefully he will want to make more with you.
