I'm sorry for your loss and glad that you have something that he liked to help you through the sad times. By making that quilt, you honor him and it will keep him close to you.

Sorry for your loss. It is a beautiful quilt.
I had a friend who did the same thing completed an applique quilt her husband had chosen. She really treasures it and I'm sure you will treasure yours,too.

My sincere condolences.

Your quilt top is beautiful and it is wonderful that piecing it has helped you through such a tough and sad time. There's something about sunflowers that just lifts your spirits, and the other fabrics are lovely too.
