Here it is, the I-Spy quilt for my grandson. Not totally done, but almost.
A big thank you to: Fred Singer, Squilter, the casual quilter, frugal, Barbara TX, jme, Nikkilu, moonwork 42029, purplemem, raedar 63, T-Bones Mom, hoppyfrog, Sherri B., mrspete, burnsk, dkabasketlady. I hope I didn't forget anybody, but the response was really overwhelming!!!
You ladies helped me out with a lot of fabric to get this project going and for this I thank you!!!!
Hope you like the finished quilt.

I just finished my first one last week - Yours is great  How big are you blocks ? I love the way the rows are off, I should have done mine that way for the corners that didn't quite match  LOL

The blocks are 4.5". I wanted to make it easy on me and decided to off-set the blocks, so I didn't have to watch out for matching the seams. Guess I took the lazy way out.

I just did one 40x48" with 8" blocks as a super quickie on short notice to send to my son who is spending the summer in Africa with family. It was CLEVER of you to offset the blocks. I'll do that when I make one for my younger son. "Different but equal" -the mantra of moms, right? Your quilt is really great.

This is probably my favorite I-Spy that I've seen so far! The border really does it for me, as I have a massive rainbow-love, and you kept it very boy-themed at the same time. Kudos on the staggered block placement! That's brilliant! If I ever make one, I think that's what I'll have to do.
