    You are brave to do such a large quilt as a beginner. It is very pretty and you should be very proud. I love the wall hanging. I like hand sewing smaller projects too, it is relaxing.

    The pattern was the Eleanor Burns Kaleidoscope Quilt book.

    I'm not a decorator (you should see the other rooms, which are minimally decorated, if that)...but I do like those soft greens, and tend to use various combinations of them in most of the rooms of my house.

    Also, it was the first major quilt I started but have finished a number of smaller quilts during this past year and a half. As you all know, we get tired of working on the same project (or frustrated at the number of re-dos), set it aside for awhile, and then come back to it when we think we can stand looking at it again.

    I think this is a good example of how the crinkly look hides the flaws...but I actually do love it, regardless of whether the points match, the quilting lines are straight, etc. Color and design are much more important than quality of workmanship(unless you're entering it for judging, of course).
