I agree it's not plain at all, rather it's simply beautiful! It looks so inviting for a nice nap. What a lucky sister you have!

Plain? No way! It's beautiful! Any quilter worth their salt (where did that saying come from anyway?) would be proud to say they made that!

JCL in FL: Are you talking about quilterscache.com? I tried there and they had 3 Puss in the Corner patterns, none of which looks like your pattern.

OMG, if your sister doesn't like it, you can send it to me! I love it.

What pattern is it?

Millie. It is from the Quilterscache. It is the 13 1/2" one. The first one. Color makes things look so different. Look again, you'll see. I wasn't sure if it would look as good, but I'm a blue lover and so is my sis so I went with blue. when I printed the pattern off there, I don't think they had the other ones.

There is absolutely nothing plain about that quilt. The pattern is interesting and so satisfying to gaze at. (Of course, I need to add that blue is my favorite color. You could always send it my way--I love it!)

JCL, that is beautiful. While machine quilting is beautiful, the hand quilting reminds me so much of my grandmother; and I long to handquilt one myself soon.

JCL in FL: I guess I was not asking the right question. I went to quilterscache and yes I can get that pattern, but what I was really interested in is the applique. Are these turtles? I've never seen anything like this before and it's hard to tell from your avatar. I don't remember ever seeing a pattern with turtles before.

I don't know how I missed this one.
That is beautiful!
But, if you think it's plain, then just send it to me. I will pet it and love it and tell it it's NOT plain and give it much love!
