What a wonderful thing you did by accepting this challenge and coming up with this piece of history for the Suquamish tribes musuem. I am sure they and you are very proud for it to hang in a place in the museum for all to see. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.

It's a beautiful quilt you've made! As a Seattlite, I recognize the images and you executed them beautifully. I applaud you for taking this on and happy the mayor thought to honor the people on whose land we now live.

A great piece of history and art.

Now - educate me - what are the two things in the middle - I get the fish/worship/boats/clothing - but I have no idea what they are - the lower one looks like a shoulder pad or shield to me - and I'm about 99% sure that is NOT what it is!
