    Wow, very nice. I have always wanted to try one, but the small pieces don't exactly call out to me. I am sure it is an art to work with small pieces.

    I would never in a million years have thought of putting the orange and red together, but it's gorgeous! What a lucky friend you have!

    Thank you all for your comments. The main border fabric (that I chose first) had shades of orange and a hint of red, so I went with it. This mini quilt is based on Terrie Sandelin's book Miniatures in Minutes. Her technique makes it easy. The hardest party was to learn to FMQ in the main border!
