I'm trying to find just the right word here...
beautiful, yep!
cozy, uh-huh!
sweet, okay!
snuggly, yes!
I guess there just isn't one word to describe your quilt. Great job, Heather!

P.S. Milo obviously has great taste!

Ruth,
My seams were 1/2". I used flannel as my batting, lol, it was much easier. In using flannel, you can cut it the same size of the square and you don't have to quilt the squares unless you would like to.

Approximately, how big are the (finished) blocks minus the fringe? (OMG~ I just quilt-cussed)
My brainstorm was with 4-inch blocks....after fringe/rag, that would be only about 3" or maybe less....
I think I'm going to have to go up a few inches for my next project.

Miranda,
My finished squares are 5 1/2". I used larger squares so I wouldn't have to cut and use so many smaller ones. I think the next one I make, depending on the material I might make the squares just a tad bit bigger. we shall see... :D

I guess if I could do math, I wouldn't've had to've asked that question... really, my brain doesn't work right anymore.

Love the new avatar...I saw those sunflowers in that 1/2 whiskey barrell and thought how that would make a great pic! LOL!
