This is called Golden Stairs but I think it has a Southwest Indian Look. What do you think? I think it is going to be pretty. I just have about a third of the blocks done. But I laid it out so you all could see. Let me know what you think. Hope to have it ready in time for the fair this year.

Thanks. I have no idea what I will use for the back yet. Going to have to go shoooooooppppping!!!!! I figured just a natural backing. I don't have enough of any of the colors left to do a backing and I only have two 108 in backings on hand. One is a light beige floral and the other is a small print beige tiny white flowers on it. Didn't think either of these would look good. Besides it will take forever to put all of these blocks together before I have enough to finish it.

I think I clicked on your post before your picture had time to upload. It's really nice. I love the blue.

Thanks for all the info and compliments. I got stuck on this pattern kind of my mistake. A new quilter came to our quilting and I told her to pick out something that she liked. She picked this one. It turned out to be a little more complicated for her than she wanted. So I decided to see just how complicated it would be. The material was some I had just bought for another project. I liked the way it looked so well that I dropped all of my other projects to work on this one. I hope it is finished in time to enter in the 4 states fair.

I think it is going to be beautiful. Anything you and your husband make is beautiful. This will be a good excuse to go shopping. Keep up the god work, I don't have the nerve to put anything in the fair. Josie
