    Default My latest quilt - Paisley Party

    Here's my latest quilt. It's a wall hanging done as part of a challenge for a design contest. We had to use the paisley fabric in at least 20% of the quilt. After seeing so many lovely Star Spin quilts here, I combined that with the Card Trick block to come up with a six pointed star. One of the things we were supposed to do is convey movement, and I hope I did that well.

    Very nice...have you actually cut out those paisley pieces and appliqued them on?

    Thanks! I did fussy cut them and applique them down. I used fusible and the quilting to hold them in place.
