It's beautiful - maybe you can put the quilt label where the hole is, might be an unconventional place but who says we have to be conventional?

This is a great idea. If you applique the patch first, then quilt as usual, it will look like you intended it all along. The front is beautiful. I was wondering, did you provide the fabrics along with the quilt? It's beautifully coordinated, so I assume so. I really am impressed!

I think it is just one fab quilt. I think the other suggestions were right on. Great place for a label, a cute little star, a list of all who worked on it was a terrific idea. Don't let a little hole ruin the love that went into that wonderful piece.

Alot of quilters piece the backing also, even doing it with random fabrics
that match the top. Could you make one single block large enough to
cover the spot you are speaking of?

The quilt is beautiful. How big is the hole? There was a beautiful quilt posted here where the lady put a pieced back on her quilt. She had a row of small rectangles going thru the middle of the back. It looked great. You might could add some type of applique along with your patch to make it all look like it was on purpose. Could you do any hand applique on it before it is all finished so you would be able to include patches in the quilting?

This is a very beautiful quilt! On the back you could make the label or an applique over the hole.

Beautiful quilt. I would just cover the hole up.
