I'm afraid it would have taken me longer than that for a completely hand made quilt of that quality and beauty! Great job! (but do you plan on making just two quilts in your lifetime???? There are sewing machines out there, you know!)

I understand why this quilt took you so long. I've made a grandmother's flower garden using the English paper piecing method so yes, they take a long time. But your design is wonderful. Love it. Congrats on the finish!

Yes, I can see how it would take so long to make. It is very pretty. I have a cathedral window in progress and have working on it off and on for about 20 years. Someday I will finish it, maybe in twin size or throw size.
