Turned out great. I saw the previous post also and wanted to make some. Are you just making the eyes with an ink pen? They are so cute. I will have to try these.

the eyes were made using a zigzag stitch set to zero stitch length

I just finished one and have the blocks made for 3 more. I used a pen for the eyes and I don't like it. The pattern calls for sewing "thread eyes" but I think I have some black seed beads. If I can find them that's what I'll use. If not, I guess I will have to use thread. That's just my personal preference. I was surprised how easy and fun they are to make.

these are adorable, I made several in a smaller scale and I quilted a few. and then I made about four as wine bottles covers, an easy project well received.
