Default My Lucky Stars

Here's one of the newest projects that I have been working on. It's finally finished!

It had so many pieces but I really like the end result.

I purchased the pattern/kit from "Connecting Threads", designed by Marilyn Foreman (quiltmoments.com). They call it "Check Out the Stars".

Just getting started was a bit confusing so I contacted Marilyn and she simplified it for me. She was very sweet, thank you Marilyn.

Thank you for looking.

I love the batiks in it. I love connecting thread batiks. they are really soft and nice. I love the quilt. it is really nice. you did a great job on it. it looks like the blocks are made up of hst squares and a sorta 4 patch. i love it. will have to make one on my own.

Love stars. LOVE YOUR STARS. Colors are great. I keep looking at it and admire the color combo's you have. How much fabric did it take? Is it all batiks? How big are the blocks? Trying to pick your brain here (as if you couldn't tell). Did you have enough fabric in the kit. I have never purchased a kit. I have heard some stories about not enough fabric. I would purchase this. I think that you have done an awesome on this quilt. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

That's a beauty, so cool and soothing. I love star blocks, I'll have to try this one.
