Honestly, don't tell people of your mistake. They won't know if you don't tell them! It looks pretty nice, as if you intended it to be that way from the beginning.

Nice! Lesson learned: Don't panic when you make a mistake. Bet a lot of patterns are discovered that way.

You did a great job on the FMQ! I tried it for the first time today on a small, layered piece. It was fun! How do you know how close together to make the stitching? I think mine were much closer together than yours. I like your distances much better than mine.

You made good use of your mistake and I think you did a good job doing the FMQ. Sure wish I could do half that good!!!
