Outstanding. I bet your daughter remembered all the different outfits from those blocks. Your quilter did a beautiful job quilting it too.

Oops posted and then went back to read all the replys, I see you said your daughter did remember all the outfits. What a special quilt this is and I agree with so many others that posted thanks for the special story behind it. The story is what really MAKES this quilt. Don't get me wrong, it is a wonderful quilt but the story behind it makes it spectacular. I sure hope you put a label on the quilt documenting that it was started in 2006 completed in 2013, gifted to your DD and made from scraps of clothes you made for her since she was a toddler back in the late 60s. Future generations will love knowing the family history. There have been countless posts on the QB of members lamenting they had Great Grandma's quilt but knew nothing else about it so please include this info on your label.

My mom saved scraps from clothes she made for my sister and me and for herself - I need to do something with them. Thanks for the push!
