I've been quilting for years, and most of my nieces now have one of my quilts. One of these times, I'll get one done for MY bed. In the meantime, I got this one done for my mom. The pattern is out of a magazine from a couple of years ago, but I've misplaced it.
This was also my first "full sized" quilt that I quilted on my frame with my new machine. The shaky hands got better row by row!

Just the top, yes, I had to fix 2 blocks

It's great and I'd reverse it occasionally. The backing is lovely, too.

Update. I gave my mom her quilt last week. She called me yesterday to tell me that she got a huge complement for me. Mom's sister in law, who is a quilter herself, was visiting and told mom that I had done such a good job on it. It feels so good to get a complement, but especially from another quilter!
