It's a beautiful quilt and it looks like your furry friend likes it too!

Thanks, ladies, for the positive comments. :-)

Klue ... this cat likes to have her picture taken ... I have several photos of her rolling back and forth and posing on this quilt ... then she took a nap ...

The fabrics are the Spring Hill collection from Kaufman. These fabrics were wonderful to work with. I did not pick the individual fabrics for this one ... usually I do. I rarely use a kit as I always end up changing something. I only made the outer neutral border on this one to be wider and left off a narrow outer border that would have been red in this quilt. I will use the red for the binding, I think.

These were the featured fabrics in the designer's kit and I really could not have found better ones to match my son's taste and apartment. Lots of neutrals ... black and white ... dark red leather sofas ... and he has red sheets. I bought extra fabric and I am going to make shams to match.

I want to make this pattern again in blues and yellows for myself ... ah ... when I have time ... I have so many quilts I want to make at this point ...

sew much to sew ... so little time ... Pat

Very pretty quilt. That pattern is wonderful and your colors are right on. I always like my quilts to be kitty approved too.
