Great story, beautiful hand quilting. What a perfect way to use your "inheritance". I know that you and your sister will forever treasure these quilts.

the quilt holds a place of honor... placed on the back of my sewing chair where I see it every day. And every day I think of our Mom and how she passed her artistic talents on to all her kids and her grandkids. That lovely quilt also inspires me...

Mom was so talented in everything she did......we all learned so much from her! And I'm happy to hear you LIKE to see it every day!

I can remember when we lived in Hawaii and Mom and I were quilting then... must have been '67 or '68. I still have those quilts! I'll have to hunt them up...

Next time I'm up there, I'd love to see them! It was 1968!
