This one is the one we made for our oldest daughters wedding several years ago.

Yes I do have the blocks stacking up. Someday.

The last ones were my mothers. These aren't embroidery but they are my daughters quilts. I helped with her first one (the plaid one) and while she lived in Panama she made one with traditional Panamanian fabrics.

    Just thought I'd share.

Mary-thank you for sharing pictures of your mom's incredible handiwork with us. She is truly talented and you can see the love in every stitch. Your daughter's quilts are beautiful too.

Oh, Mary QC, ALL of your mom's work is gorgeous, but I have just fallen in love with the baskets. I am crazy about butterflies! Let her do all she wants to do. What a treasure you girls have.

    Thank you.

She just had her 89th birthday and since she couldn't decide on 2 quilt tops for my new granddaughter she made 2.

Those are absolutely stunning. Your Mom has done a fantastic job. My Mom is 84 & spends all of her time hand sewing quilts together. I am so proud of both your Mother & mine. I hope I can keep up when I am their age. :D
