    To My Neighbor

This was Bonnie Hunter’s leader/ender project for this year. I gave the quilt to my neighbor as she was recovering from a medical procedure. I tried a new quilting design which I thought turned out rather well. The label is from a panel I purchased. I used the last of the backing fabric for this quilt. It’s one of my favorites for a scrappy and I’m sorry to see it go.

You are a great neighbor. The quilt is marvelous and I can see why you hate to be out of that backing. It's so pretty.

That's a wonderful scrappy! I don't think I would have been able to let it go.

It definitely would be difficult to see it go but it will be well loved to be sure. Good job on the quilting design.

I really like your very scrappy quilt for your neighbor. It is very pretty. I admire the discipline of having patches prepared for using as leaders and enders. The end result is something to be admired. I need to heed the lesson.

I have to admit that they usually get started as leader/enders and before I know it they’re my main project. I think I must have a one track mind. LOL In this case I happened to have most of the triangles and some 4-patches already done so it was kind of a quick finish.
