I have to say, in all reality, it looks much harder than it was....paper piecing really breaks it down into manageable sections. I'd encourage anyone who has an opportunity to take a Judy Neiemeyer (sp?) class to go for it because they really teach some neat tricks and tips for paper piecing. BTW - I just got my pattern for the Bali Bed Runner in the mail today. I said I'd NEVER paper piece.........so much for that!

She's awesome! I took a quilting class at my LQS, my first ever attempt at paper piecing and Lilly really hung in there and proved herself. The second photo is the Glacier Star that Lilly and I made together. Just finished it on Saturday!

Yes, it was Katherine (Erickson) - she's a great instructor! We had lots of fun in that class and I learned SO much! Who do you do it with on-line? That sounds intriguing to me. I'm really not a very "class-ee" person! LOL
