Here is a new one to the family of machines! She was given to me just because! She was spotted at a sale so I got a surprise gift !! She was born 1917 in Orange Mass. and that is all I know of her.... I think I will call her Penny..... She is getting cleaned up soon.

She is a beautiful machine. Hope you have many pleasurable years sewing with her. You gave her a good name too. :D :D

She'll be a pretty girl when clean. Is she a treadle head or a handcrank?

She is a treadle, but as I am getting to know her, it appears that she may have been an original as a crank. I see on the wheel where she has a spot that could of been where the crank was and that the treadle spot could very well be an add on.. I love messing with these things!

Have you ventured into the vintage machine tea room? Put "vintage sit" in the search box and it'll be the first thing that comes up. Lots of fun there for vintage machine lovers.
