I loved my Esante. I since traded her in for the Ellisimo. Babylock machines are very user friendly.

Oh how wonderful

My local quilt shop in Richland Center Wisconsin sells Baby Lock. She gives a class everything month with a project that teaches you something that the machine does. So I would find out where the machine was purchased and see if they have classes. Often classes come free with the machine. If the place she purchased it doesn't give classes, get on the internet and find other dealers near you. You will be shocked at all your machine and all those feet can do.

I am so thrilled for you

(Mine also has an embroidery feature, with attachments and hoops, but I confess I have never used them. One day I will explore them too.)
Great suggestions - I've had my Esante for more than 12 years and it is a real work horse. Mine is used mainly for embroidery work and has worked well for this purpose. You'll enjoy using yours!

What a wonderful gift from your Mom. I have an Ellegante 2 and find the manuals very user friendly. You will learn by using. Have fun!

google sewing machine manuals and you can buy the manual for 8.00 or 10.00 and they have hundreds of them.

Go to babylock.com they have some Sew @ Home class you can buy. I get them and have learned more taking the class. they are on the phone with you and show you on the computer how to do it. And if you have a question you can ask. Really nice.
